How App Icon Factory handles the information you share

App Icon Factory turns a short product brief into a generated app icon. This page explains the information the platform uses, where it is sent, and which browser-side analytics only run after consent.

01

Information you provide

When you use the generator, the platform accepts the following brief fields:

  • App name
  • App description
  • Optional keywords
  • Optional style description

02

How the platform uses your information

Your brief is sent to the app server, then forwarded to a third-party generation service to structure the prompt and generate SVG icon output. After the SVG is returned, the server renders a JPEG preview from that SVG and sends both outputs back to your browser.

03

Analytics and consent

Analytics is off by default. Analytics is only initialized after you accept the consent banner. When accepted, the app measures:

  • Page views
  • Generate icon clicks
  • Successful and failed generation states
  • SVG download clicks
  • Return-to-start clicks
  • Footer link clicks

Your consent choice is stored in browser local storage. Accepted analytics uses browser storage and cookies.

04

Data processors

The current codebase sends icon-generation requests to a third-party generation service and, if you accept analytics, sends usage events to a third-party analytics service.

05

What the app does not currently do

  • No user accounts
  • No payments
  • No saved project library or database-backed customer workspace in the current codebase

06

Your choices

You can reject analytics to keep analytics disabled. You should also avoid submitting sensitive or personal information in icon briefs, because prompt content is sent to third-party processing services to generate the result.
